During a brief visit to London, I had only a short moment to explore the city with my camera. In an area that initially felt stark and uninviting: the business district, a sudden patch of sunlight opened up between tall office buildings. It stopped me mid-stride. People moved through the light, entering and leaving the brightness as if stepping on and off a stage. Their silhouettes and shadows brought a touch of humanity to an otherwise abstract, cinematic scene.
