Mirjana Kosanović (born 1971 in Subotica) inherited her love of painting from her parents. A dedicated educator since 1992, she shares her passion for art with children through creative workshops. She has been actively painting since 2020, working mainly with oil, acrylic, and pastel.
Her life, marked by rises and hardships, deeply shapes her work; she transfers her emotions onto canvas, using painting as her most personal language. She also writes poetry and essays, and many artworks are accompanied by handwritten texts reflecting their inner meaning.
Her artistic expression leans toward her own form of surrealism, exploring dreams, fractures, silence, and light within her inner world. She has exhibited in solo and group shows and participated in art colonies in Serbia and Croatia. Since 2025, she has been a member of the Croatian Art Association “Croart”.
