Ivica Petraš, a Zagreb-based painter, graduated from Arthouse in Ljubljana. Since 2000 he has created textured, vibrant oil works inspired by nature and light. He has exhibited across Europe and is represented internationally by Carré d’artistes.
Ivica Petraš is a Croatian painter born near Zagreb. He completed his art education at Arthouse – College of Visual Arts in Ljubljana, Slovenia. With roots in caricature and illustration, Petraš has been devoted to oil painting since 2000, developing a distinctive style marked by expressive textures, layered surfaces, and harmonious, vibrant colors. His works often explore nature, mystical atmospheres, and the shifting light of the sea, creating emotionally charged and poetic landscapes.
Petraš has exhibited extensively in Croatia and abroad, including solo and group shows in Zagreb, Split, New York, and throughout Europe. He collaborates with several galleries in Dubrovnik, Korčula, Poreč, and Rovinj, and is represented internationally by the French art house Carré d’artistes, with exhibitions across France. As a member of HDLU and HULULK, he actively participates in art colonies and humanitarian projects. He lives and works in Zagreb.
