Kristina Kinkela Valčić

Kristina Kinkela Valčić (Rijeka, 1990) is a Croatian visual artist and educator. She holds an MA in Arts from the Academy of Applied Arts in Rijeka and is pursuing a PhD. She has exhibited widely in Croatia and abroad. A member of HDLU Rijeka, Art Ćakula platform and Salvador klub Ljubljana.

Kristina Kinkela Valčić (Rijeka, 1990) is a visual artist and educator. She graduated in Art Education from the Academy of Applied Arts, University of Rijeka, earning the title of Master of Education in Visual Arts and Culture. She is currently a PhD candidate in Croatian Culture at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb.
Her work has been presented in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Croatia and abroad, including Art Expo Ljubljana and Trieste, Galerija Oblok in Zagreb, Juraj Šporer Art Pavilion in Opatija, Galerija Fonticus in Grožnjan, as well as international events in Zurich, Berlin, and Istanbul.
She is a member of the Croatian Association of Artists Rijeka (HDLU Rijeka), the Salvador Club Ljubljana (SLO) and the Art ćakula online platform. Her artistic practice is rooted in abstraction, exploring the relationships between natural and urban spaces and cultural heritage through contemporary expression.
