The artist Beatrix Huber has been engaged with painting and music since her childhood. She has learned recorder, zither, and harp. For her, music and painting are closely intertwined. Both arts live from harmony, but also from contrast, from subtle transitions, from the interplay of gentleness and wildness, from loud and soft. Images create emotions and moods, the same thing a piece of music can evoke. Your own images and stories can arise in your mind. One can inspire the other. Everything that appears in music can also be found again in her paintings. For her, it is inseparably woven together.

The love of music has connected the 3 harpists Irene Schleischitz, Irmgard Vollnhofer, and Beatrix Huber with one another for decades. Their repertoire spans centuries: early music, classical, Irish pieces, folk music, modern music, but also individual compositions by Beatrix Huber.
