Vernissage: BEATRIX HUBER
TIMBRE - COLOR OF SOUND
Artist Beatrix Huber has been engaged with painting and music since her childhood. She has learned recorder, zither, and harp. For her, music and painting are closely intertwined. Both arts thrive on harmony, but also on contrast, on fine transitions, on the interplay of gentleness and wildness, of loud and soft. Images create emotions and moods, and a piece of music can trigger the same. One's own images and stories can emerge in the mind. One can inspire the other. Everything that occurs in music can be found again in her paintings. For her, they are inseparably interwoven.
STRING WIND
The love of music has connected the 3 harpists Irene Schleischitz, Irmgard Vollnhofer, and Beatrix Huber with one another for decades. Their repertoire spans centuries: early music, classical, Irish pieces, folk music, modern music, as well as individual compositions by Beatrix Huber.
