In our exhibition rooms in Wiener Neustadt (over 5,000 m²) they show their art live. WinStage is operated by Win Admin GmbH, based in Wiener Neustadt, Austria.

What makes WinStage different from traditional galleries?

In short: 0 % commission. 100 % contact. The classic gallery model relies on artists and buyers not knowing each other directly — otherwise the gallery could be bypassed in future sales. The commission model needs that separation. WinStage flips this. Our business model is the infrastructure — your subscription for online presence and optionally physical exhibition space. Not the transaction. 0 % commission — what you sell belongs 100 % to you 100 % lead generation — we connect art lovers directly with you Full control — you run the sales conversation, set the price, decide We want you to know your collectors. That's not a side effect — that's our principle.

Is WinStage an online shop or marketplace?

No. WinStage is a SaaS platform (Software as a Service). We provide the technical infrastructure — your artist page, the artwork upload, the inquiry system. Win Admin GmbH is neither seller nor broker. No purchase happens through the platform. When interested parties inquire about a work, we establish direct contact. Everything else — price negotiation, sale, shipping — is up to you.

Who is WinStage for?

For artists who want to professionally present their works online and optionally exhibit live — without commission, with full control over prices and customer contact. For art lovers who want to discover contemporary art and contact artists directly — online and on-site. Our filter system helps target exactly: you may not know which artist you're looking for, but you know which size, technique, style or theme — and find precisely the works that suit you.

Who can join WinStage?

WinStage is open to artists who create unique, contemporary art. Requirements: You are at least 18 years old You hold full rights to the uploaded artwork images and the offered works You provide truthful and complete information about your works (technique, material, dimensions, year, price) You accept our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy when registering WinStage reserves the right to reject works that do not meet our quality criteria.

What is a "period"?

A period is the timeframe your subscription covers — either one month or one year, depending on your billing cycle. The period starts on the day of your first payment. Example: if you start a yearly subscription on March 15, your first period runs from March 15, 2026 to March 15, 2027. Your upload quota (e.g. 10 works on Starter) applies for that period. On successful renewal the next period starts seamlessly — your runtime does not shift, even if payment arrives a few days later.

What is a "slot"?

A slot is a place for one work. Your plan determines how many slots you have per period. Example: with the Starter plan you can upload 10 works. What occupies a slot: Works under review (submitted, awaiting approval) Approved works (publicly visible) Works marked as "sold" What does not occupy a slot: Drafts — they are not publicly visible and do not occupy a slot Need more space than your plan offers? With additional slots (one-time payment) you can extend your quota. Additional slots only apply to the current period and are not carried over on renewal.

Question 11

What happens when I mark a work as "sold"?

The work remains visible on your artist page with the "Sold" badge and continues to occupy a slot. This is intentional: sold works show collectors that your art is in demand. It strengthens your portfolio.

Question 12

Can I take my works offline myself?

Accepted Answer

No. Once you upload a work to WinStage and it is approved, it stays online until the end of your subscription period. You can mark a work as "sold", but not set it back to draft yourself.

Question 13

How does the yearly subscription work? What is the "ArtVault"?

Accepted Answer

The yearly subscription is the recommended choice — and has a key advantage: the ArtVault (our loyalty program). What does ArtVault mean? On yearly renewal, your existing works stay online and no longer count against your new quota. Each year you get fresh slots on top. Your portfolio grows — without paying more. You can change title, description, price, technique, material etc. any time. The main image of protected works cannot be replaced. Important: The ArtVault is preserved only as long as you renew your yearly subscription. On cancellation, all works go back to draft.

How does the monthly subscription work?

Your monthly subscription renews automatically. Your published works remain online as long as your subscription is active. Please note: An artwork's image cannot be changed after upload (applies to all subscription types). When your subscription ends or is cancelled, all your works will be set to draft. Unlike the annual subscription, the monthly plan does not include ArtVault — your works are not preserved across periods.

Question 15

Can I change my plan?

Accepted Answer

Upgrade (e.g. Starter → Pro): Applied immediately. You get more slots right away. All existing works stay online. The price difference is prorated. Downgrade (e.g. Pro → Starter): Your current plan stays fully active until the end of the runtime. At period end the plan switches automatically. A planned downgrade can be cancelled any time. Yearly downgrade: All your existing works stay protected through the ArtVault. You start the new period with the slots of the new plan. Monthly downgrade: All works go to draft. You start with fresh slots of the new plan. Upgrades and downgrades are only possible within the same billing cycle — monthly to monthly or yearly to yearly. Switching from monthly to yearly (or vice versa) is not directly possible. To switch, cancel your current subscription, let it expire, and start a new one with the desired cycle.

What happens on cancellation?

Your subscription stays fully active until the end of the paid runtime After that, all works are set to draft and your artist page is deactivated Your works and data are not deleted — they are just no longer publicly visible The cancellation can be reverted any time before expiration in the Dashboard

Can I rejoin after cancellation?

Accepted Answer

Yes, any time. All your old works are still available as drafts and can be reactivated — each reactivated work then occupies a slot in the new period. There is no ArtVault from the old runtime — you start with a fresh period.

Question 18

Which payment methods are accepted?

Accepted Answer

For recurring subscriptions: credit card, PayPal, SEPA direct debit, Klarna, and Apple Pay. For one-time purchases (e.g. additional slots) also: EPS. Payment runs through Stripe — your payment data is processed exclusively by Stripe and never stored on our servers.

Question 19

What happens if a payment fails?

Accepted Answer

You have a 14-day grace period. During this time your works stay online and your profile active. Stripe automatically retries the payment several times. If the payment is not successful within the 14-day window, the subscription is ended and your works are set to draft. Important: The grace period is not added to the runtime. If your subscription ends e.g. on January 1, 2027 and payment arrives on January 6, the subscription still extends until January 1, 2028 — not until January 6, 2028. Can I pause my subscription?

Accepted Answer

A pause function is currently not available. You can cancel any time and start a new subscription later — your data and works remain stored.

Question 21

Do I have a right of withdrawal?

Accepted Answer

For digital services, the right of withdrawal expires once you explicitly agree at checkout that the service starts immediately and confirm that you waive your right of withdrawal. This corresponds to § 18 (1) Z 11 FAGG (Austrian Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act). Your consent is documented in the order process.

What do visitors see on my artist page?

Accepted Answer

Visitors see your artist name, profile picture and biography. Plus all approved works with images, description, technique, dimensions and price — and whether you currently exhibit at WinStage. Personal contact details such as email address, phone number or private address are not shown. Drafts and works under review are not visible. Interested parties can send you a message via the inquiry form.

Question 23

How does the review of my works work?

You upload a work and can save it as draft or directly submit it for review On submission → Status: Under review — the work occupies a slot from now on Our team reviews quality, image quality and information After approval → Status: Published (publicly visible) If the work is not approved, it goes back to draft and frees the slot. For follow-up questions you receive a message in your Dashboard.

WinStage — The Home of Art is in the WINPARK Business Park at Wiener Straße – Werkstraße 111 in 2700 Wiener Neustadt, Austria. Over 5,000 m² of exhibition space across multiple levels. The easiest way: enter "WinStage Wiener Neustadt" in Google Maps.

How do I get to WinStage?

By car: Via the A2 (Südautobahn). From Vienna: exit Wiener Neustadt Nord. From Graz/south: exit Wöllersdorf. From the highway exit you reach us in under 10 minutes. Over 800 free parking spaces directly on-site. By public transport: Wiener Neustadt main station is well-connected by rail (about 35 minutes from Vienna main station). From there by city bus or taxi to WinStage. Plan your route via anachb.vor.at or the ÖBB app.

Is WinStage accessible?

Yes. The exhibition rooms are reachable via lift. We have spacious accessible toilets and wide aisles suitable for wheelchair users.

Question 28

What spaces are available?

Accepted Answer

We offer single booths billed by construction and use: two-walled booths by square meter, three-walled booths by linear meter — except for sculptures, where square meter always applies. Booths can be booked individually or in collectives (e.g. as an association or artist group).

Who is liable for my works during the exhibition?

Accepted Answer

Exhibited works are on-site at the artist's own risk. Win Admin GmbH assumes no liability for damage, loss or theft. The premises are video-monitored.

Question 30

Can I host an event at WinStage?

Accepted Answer

Yes — WinStage is open to cultural events of all kinds. Vernissages are very welcome and can be booked as part of your exhibition. We are also open to readings, workshops, artist talks and other cultural events. Contact us at anfrage@winstage.at — we discuss the options gladly.

How does WinStage protect my data?

We process only the data necessary for operating the platform. All connections are encrypted (HTTPS). Payment data is processed exclusively by our payment provider Stripe and never stored on our servers. The full privacy policy is available at winstage.at/datenschutz.

Does WinStage use cookies?

Accepted Answer

Yes, technically necessary cookies for your login and the payment process. Marketing cookies are activated only with your explicit consent. You can change your settings any time via the cookie banner.

Can I have my account and data deleted?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Contact us at office@winstage.at with your deletion request. We delete your personal data in accordance with GDPR, where no statutory retention obligations apply.
