Why WinStage? — The platform that belongs to artists

WinStage gives you your own artist page on an SEO-optimised platform with over 200 artists — no commission, with full customer contact. In addition, WinStage operates a 5,000 m² physical exhibition space in Wiener Neustadt, which is bookable separately.

On this page we compare, factually, what sets WinStage apart from typical online galleries: in cost, in visibility, and in everything that goes beyond a purely online presence. Every claim is verifiable, and all prices come directly from our plan model.

What does it really cost?

Example: You sell 3 artworks at €800 each per year — total revenue €2,400.

At a typical online gallery (30% commission + €70/month subscription): commission €720, subscription €840/year — your costs €1,560/year. You keep €840.

At WinStage (0% commission + €65/year Starter): commission €0, subscription €65/year — your costs €65/year. You keep €2,335.

Result: With WinStage you keep €1,495 more per year — from the same 3 sales. That's roughly 24× lower costs.

More than just online

WinStage is not only an online shop window. In addition to the online subscription, WinStage operates over 5,000 m² of exhibition space in Wiener Neustadt, where visitors experience art on site — live, at real scale, in the room. This physical exhibition is not included in the online subscription but bookable separately — via vernissages, events, or the stipendium programme. Add to that professionally produced artist interviews and TV presence. This combination of online reach and physical experience is something a pure online marketplace cannot offer.

For art buyers

WinStage does not earn from your art purchase. Because there is no commission, the price you see goes 100% to the artist. You buy directly, fairly, and transparently — and you can view the works online or on site in Wiener Neustadt beforehand.

Choose your plan

The Starter, Pro, and Pro+ plans differ mainly in the number of artworks you can show online. All prices come from the current plan model and include 0% sales commission.

Producing more than 30 works a year? No problem — upload slots can be expanded at any time as an add-on.

Frequently asked questions

What commission does WinStage take?

WinStage takes 0% sales commission. The entire sale proceeds stay with the artist. The platform is financed through a transparent subscription, not through a share of individual sales.

What does WinStage cost?

WinStage is subscription-based. You can start from the smallest annual plan; higher plans allow more works online. All prices include VAT and are shown, up to date, on the pricing page.

Can I also exhibit my art physically?

Yes. WinStage operates over 5,000 m² of physical exhibition space in Wiener Neustadt. However, it is not included in the online subscription but bookable separately — for example via vernissages, events, or the stipendium programme, which offers selected artists free exhibition time.
